Most times when you watch a movie or flip through a magazine you usually see the same thing, a Caucasian woman that is tall with the perfect hair and the perfect body. The thing magazines and movies don't tell you is that most people in the world don't look like that, we are usually too curvy, too flat, or too short compared to the models. I'm here to tell you that skin color, height and weight are not the things that make us beautiful; it's your character that speaks.
Character is most commonly defined as the things we do when no one is looking and that definition is right on. You could be the most stunning girl to ever walk the planet but if you treat everyone around you like trash except for the filthy rich than you might as well be the ugliest thing most people have ever seen. Looks can distract people for awhile but unless you plan on moving every few months people are going to start catching on. But, if you are proud of how you look and you treat people with respect people are going to want to be around you.
Also, if you are tired of an aspect of your appearance don't run out and get cosmetic or weight loss surgery which makes the variety that our country is rich with will diminish very quickly. If you don't like how your hair looks anymore you can try a different shade or a different cut. I donated 12" of my hair to Locks of Love and I can't believe that I hadn't tried the pixie cut sooner. Most people at my school didn't even recognize me which was kind of fun. You could try wearing different jewelry, a new shirt, or try some new makeup as long as it still hold true to who you are. Never change who you are.
